Under this program, 20,000 electric bikes and petrol bikes will be provided to all the students across Punjab. All these bikes will be distributed without any interest free. Total Number of Bikes 

Under this program, the Punjab government will distribute 20,000 bikes among students, out of which 1000 will be electric bikes and 19,000 will be petrol bikes. Chief minister of punjab maryam nawaz has given instructions that no interest charges of any kind should be taken on the monthly installment of these bikes. The Punjab government will itself pay its interest. 

Monthly Installment Process 

For those students who want to know about its installment process, the news is that the government of Pakistan has a partnership with the bank of punjab under which these bikes will be provided to you on installment. In order not to put too much stress on the students. The installment price of the bikes has been kept very low, in which the installment of electric bikes is Rs. 10,000 per month and while the installment of petrol bikes is done for 5000 per month. The purpose of keeping such low rates is to enable students to study as much as possible so that they can continue their education with ease.

Quota And Delivery 

If we talk about delivery and quota, the punjab government will conduct the lottery for the applications submitted by students in the month of may in this year. The purpose of distributing bikes through drawing lots is to ensure justice in the implementation of distribution. If we talk about quota, the Punjab government will distribute all the bikes equally among male and female students. But if we talk about rural areas, 70% male students and 30% female students have been selected in rural areas. 

Application Procedure 

The Punjab government has not yet started the registration process for this bike scheme program.
