In the first phase of this scheme, up to 19000 petrol bikes will be distributed to students and 1000 electric bikes will be distributed among the students. For petrol bikes, only the students of Punjab can submit the application, whereas for the electric bike, people from other provinces of Punjab who are getting educated in punjab can also submit the application. Under this scheme, the Punjab government is providing a subsidy of Rs 01 billion. This scheme is a great initiative from the Punjab Government.
